Daily Quote: The Bell Jar

This has been one complicated read. I did enjoy it though.

“To the person in the bell jar, blank and stopped as a dead baby, the world itself is the bad dream.”

– Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar

RIP Dr. John Nash

I am heartbroken.

Dr. John Nash passed away with his wife in a car crash.

He will forever be an idol to everyone who studies mathematics. And to me.

If you have’t read the book or watched the movie about his life and struggle with schizophrenia, I recommend you to do so. It’s a beautiful story of a beautiful human being with a mind like no other.

May his soul rest in peace.

Movie Quote: I did my best.

Last night, I watched “The Theory of Everything”. My respect for this incredible genius is now, if possible, even higher. Regardless of his religious views, he is one of the most brilliant people in this world, and he has the most beautiful personality.

Kudos to Eddie Redmayne, he did such an awesome job. Respect.

This quote, though not the greatest, or the most brilliant…it made my heart bleed. You’re  a great man Prof. Stepehen.

“I’m sorry, I did my best.”

– Stephen Hawking

Daily Quote: To Forgive

“The only way out of the labyrinth of suffering is to forgive.”

– John Green, Looking for  Alaska

I hate this book. But this quote is so true, so beautiful. I had to share.

Quote: Acknowledge the downside too

“There’s a downside to everything, a dark side to everyone, and those who willingly walk in the shadows are a hell of a lot more convincing than those who only acknowledge the sunshine.”
